Its density is 1.261 and its vapor pressure is less than 1 mm Hg at 20 degree C. It is used to formulate alkyd resin, glycerin, acetic acid, nitroglycerin and ester. As basic organic chemical, this solvent is required in textile, food processing, pharmaceutical, paint and paper making fields. This solvent is colorless and its molar mass is 76.09.
